We have a few organic farms in the area here in Cincinnati, OH that do reuse
egg cartons. In fact, they have signs up asking that people return there
used egg cartons to help keep the cost down.
Peace,
Ben

Subject: [GreenYes] egg cartons
Someone told me yesterday that paperboard egg cartons can't be recycled
because
the paper in them has been recycled so much that it is worn out.
also they said they can't be reused because of the "health department".
Is this an urban legend or the truth?
Is anyone out there recycling or reusing paperboard egg cartons?
thanks much,
Van Calvez
