According to today's Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, 49% of respondents said
the government should do more tio regulate the marketplace andprotect
workers, consumers and invesgtors, while 39% said government should
interfere less "because regulation often does more harm than good."
Environmental regulation was not dealt with in the poll.  The margin of
error is 3.2%.
