Coke Shareholders Meeting:  April 17, 2002 - New York City

A recycling resolution is on the Coca-Cola proxy for the second year. The
resolution asks Coke to research a plan to achieve a 80% container recovery
rate nationwide (the level currently achieved in deposit states). The annual
meeting is at Madison Square Garden.

Pepsi Shareholders Meeting 2002:  May 1, 2002 - Plano TX

A recycling resolution is on the PepsiCo proxy for the second year. The
resolution asks PepsiCo to commit to achieving 80% container recovery rate
nationwide (the level currently achieved in deposit states) as well as
commit to using 25% recycled material in plastic bottles by 2005. The annual
meeting is at the FritoLay headquarters in Plano TX (near Dallas).
