Yup - landfilling is simply a no-no - if it is expensive to recycle
something, then the polluter pays principle should apply -
responsibility from cradle to grave - this is the whole reason why
unsustainable packaging is being used so much - all the real costs are
externalised....

from a practical point of view: rather collect at a single point, and
then ask the polluter to collect!
