There are two ways to get this data.  The first way is to go to all state
agency websites with jurisdiction over landfill operations and see if they
post their landfill facility data.  Some do and some don't.

You may also want to contact BioCycle (http://www.jgpress.com/
to see if they may be willing to share the data they collected as part of
the State of Garbage in America articles.

Finally, while not inexpensive, you may save time if you are willing to
purchase a waste facility directory published by Chartwell.  The link to
