ENVIRO FAIR 2001
WORKING TOWARD A SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY
Hosted by the 22nd District Agricultural Association
(Sponsored by California Integrated Waste Management Board)
Join us for our 2nd Annual - ENVIRO FAIR - a free exhibition and
comprehensive seminar. Meet industry professionals and successful
practitioners who can provide insight on the importance of native plant
landscapes, buying recycled products, green building, food waste recycling,
alternative fuel vehicles, solar energy systems, and more! Exhibitors will
display recycled content products and answer questions on their
environmental services.
Who should attend? Anyone that recycles and wants to learn more about
buying recycled content products (it is said that we are really not
recycling until we purchase products that contain recycled content because
that is what brings recycling full circle), those interested in resource
conservation, energy efficiency, saving money, and interested in learning
more about the concept of a sustainable community.
When: Friday, November 9th, 2001 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Where: Del Mar Fairgrounds Activity Center and Veranda Cafe, Del Mar, CA –
take Interstate 5, to Via De La Valle, go West to Jimmy Durante Blvd., turn
left, and park in Main parking lot on the right. The Activity Center is
located across from the Antique Show (O’Brien Pavilion).
