My dear Sisters and Borthers in the USA...

We in South Africa are still in shock at the horrendous and tragic loss
of life in your country. It is difficult to express our feelings of
shock and a certain numbness at the scale of the tragedy - please be
kind enough to accept that we are with you in this difficult time, and
that you have the very strongest supportive thoughts and prayers of many
millions of us in South Africa....
