I think the problem with the PVC-less wraps currently available, e.g. Glad et. al., is that they have a very limited use in the food industry: PVC wraps keep cheese from molding and drying and meat from turning rancid far longer than wrap without PVC - that sort of consideration. Is there an alternative currently on the market for food service applications? I don't think grease-paper or Glad wrap is an answer for these people.
