Concerning Carol Steinfeld's question about edible bowls capable of holding even hot soups being available in Germany, check out Biocorp (www.biocorpusa.com).  They make a variety of eating utensils including hot & cold cups and plates soon.  They may not be edible but they are compostable, they say.

Ecology Action of Texas will supply food vendors at its Earth Day fair this year with Bio Corp products for serving food.
