Donella Meadows, a long time champion of the environment and
sustainability has died of bacterial meningitus. She was 59. A professor
at Dartmouth, the author of Limits to Growth and Beyond the Limits, Dr.
Meadows was the recipient of a MacArthur genius grant in 1994. Dana's
regular column in the Global Citizen inspired many of us.
