With apologies for cross-posting

In response to local ordinances banning the sale of mercury fever and basal
thermometers, K-Mart has decided to stop selling these thermometers
nationally, according to our local district office.

K-Mart is to be congratulated for their progressive stand We will encourage
them to discontinue selling mercury thermostats as well, and will ask other
stores selling these items to follow the lead of K-Mart.
