Keep America Beautiful has done a lot of stuff for litter campaigns, incl.
an elementary curriculum guide, "Waste in Place," and lots of public
information material. They may have some research on this topic.You can
call them at 203-323-8987. They also have a good website.
We just started running some movie theater ads on the topic of litter, since
it has been established (I don't have the data) that the biggest group of
litterers (?) are young males aged 18 - 28 years. We hope to reach them
through the movies!
