Regarding the dialog on the timber subsidy research:
Some speculate that the rash of avalanches this winter is directly related
to the clear cutting of large areas of forest in the west? Are those cuts on
Federal land? Were the cuts enabled by the roads? Is this a subsidy? Is
anyone responsible for the avalanches or are they acts of God?
Just some random thoughts from an idle mind.
