The pack sets out the rationale for curriculum greening and gives
examples about different ways of putting the ideas into practice.
There are links from the text to on-line extracts from various
relevant papers, case studies and government policy documents about
curriculum greening in higher education.
The University of Edinburgh has a policy that: "All undergraduates,
at some time in their course, should be exposed to teaching about the
wider and more fundamental issues of society's relationship to the
environment, including complex social, economic and ethical
questions". The Greening the Curriculum resource pack is designed
to support staff who wish to further this aim.
