Fred,

Good work on BioCycle. The BNA reporter is Amy Porter and she is
subscribed to the greenyes listserve. (last i checked you weren't;
are you now? see instructions at end). Amy is very sharp and writes
very clear articles on complex legislation for BNA, which goes to
executives I believe.

Regarding the Sierra article, I think it might have more impact if
bundled with an article on the revival of grassroots recycling
efforts in the Club, and we are getting close to having some
statements on that (including one on zero waste). But it is never
too soon to start drafting.

Cheers,
Bill S.

Bill, I have just faxed you a copy of a note that BioCycle will publish on
our NY Times letter to the editor.

Also I was told today that my letter to Browner on the need to change RCRA
has been published in BNA Reporter. I have not seen it. I guess someone
gave it to BNA from your internet mailing. Becaue of Tierney we are getting
more attention to the need to change RCRA. I feel that thjis is a good time
to try to get a paper published in the Sierra Club magazine. Fred
