Dear Recyclers -
I am forwarding this message in the hopes that maybe some of you can
help Mr. Telloglou, and for which I would be very grateful.
You should contact him directly, as he is not a member of the email
list.
Thank you.

=D4hanks again John for your effort.
The greek islands are my case study, They generate 80% of their waste in
the summer and most of that is recyclable packaging. (liquid
containers Alouminium, glass, pet)
Unfortunately those communities are small and very old fashioned .
Ususally in the City council you find fishermen, peasants, etc. Nothing
bad with that. but their mind is not open enough to quantify the
enviromental indirect benefits that you mentioned correctly.
I have to prove them that they can run the business without loosing
money, (+/- 0), and they will benefit the enviroment thus they can
use it as an campaign tool in their next local elections . and I have
to end up with a small positive result. Not very big because it is
equally dangerous to make them think that they can become billionaires
from recycling.
SO my job is really a tricky one.
Now the module will work as follows.
I will use that big trucks to transport the items to the central
recycling plants in AThens. This can be an easy way to susidize the
transport. Ususlly island produce only tourism . So the trucka are going
there full and return to Athens empty. Also I have to invent an
incentive for the ditribution companies that do exist in the oslands.
They do exactly the same think. they leave their premises full,
distribute through the island and return empty . They will do the
collection from central collection points. They will bring the waste
to their premises package it (compact it in press mashines) and
transport it to Athens.
This is the idea . With some luck we can succeed . so I need any help
that I can use to finish this report and propose to the local
communities the project.
Thus I need is some reports that can help me manipulate things in such
an order to achieve the above result
