[GreenYes] Re: some creative ideas for junk mail

Title: [GreenYes] Re: some creative ideas for junk mail

Thanks for sharing that, Amy.  I have created a list of things you can
do with junk mail in my blog and here are them:

1) Learn to fold for science and a living.  Check out the talk given
by Dr Robert J. Lang about learning how to create origami for
development of new technology.  He has also assisted with the design
and creation of origami props used in advertisement for launch of
Lancer Endeavor.  View the advertisement and link to free origami
software and talk by Dr Lang at the following link:

2) Use junk mail to practice intricate Chinese paper cutting and
folding origami.  I have videos of both craft at the following link:

3) Need maps? Look for junk mails.  Read following link on how and why
I keep and sort junk mails I received.  I have listed 6 ideas at
following link and...

5 more at this link: http://greenbeings.netfirms.com/junk.htm.   There
is a picture of how I decorate a gift box with junk mail:

4) Create Flatpack Toys out of A4 size flyers.  Links to free
templates, designs and ideas:

5) Junk mails can also be used to decorate lanterns:

6) I also use lovely pictures from junk mail to decorate my photo
album.  It is like scrap bookeeping:

7) Create a booklet out of A4 size flyers.  There is a video on free
tutorial at:
http://greenbeingnancy.blogspot.com/2007/12/teaching-children-you-need-superheroes.html

8) Use positives words from junk mail to create appreciation or
positive affirmation board and to teach about building good attributes
or character :

I am sure I will be able to find a way to post the ideas to the link
Amy has provided.
