[GreenYes] Re: Shipping & CO2

Title: [GreenYes] Re: Shipping & CO2

In most areas, the delivery trucks are already driving down the street,
stopping or not.  We like to think of it as your package is "riding the bus"
so to say.  The carriers hopefully have routes/systems setup in the most
efficient way.  It is slowly becoming more common practice that the carriers
are using greener delivery vehicles.  We haven't done real extensive
research on this, so I'm curious as to the findings of this study, we are
often asked about the impact of shipping our products.  (It's hard for
consumers to track the path of the products we buy, but I'd be willing to
bet that mail order is actually greener than it might seem on the surface.)

Thanks David!

I was hoping to find published calculations that we can use.  I'll post
anything of note that I learn from carbonfund.org.
