This is how we deal with "abandoned books".  We set up a library to collect, mostly childrens' books at a clinic in Bandar Sungai Long.  These are books that the children living in the neighbourhood have outgrown.  Some of them were sent to Tzu Chi for recycling and the members passed them on to us as they are still in good condition and would not fetch much through recycling.  The library is managed by volunteers.
