[GreenYes] A Solar Water Heater Made of PET Bottles & Tetrabrik

The Zero Waste Program of the government of the Brazilian state of Paraná has created an interesting project which constructs solar water heaters out of used PET bottles and aseptic milks cartons. They claim that in the 10 months the program has been operating, they have diverted some 1.2 million PET bottles and aseptic milk cartons that might otherwise have gone to the landfill…
