The City of Oakland is currently recruiting for the position of Recycling Specialist. Under the supervision of the Recycling and Solid Water Program Supervisor, you will plan, implement, promote and monitor a variety of waste reduction, recycling and solid waste programs for Oakland, including residences, businesses, and City offices and facilities, as well as perform audits and surveys and prepare reports.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Environmental Studies, Waste Management, Public or Business Administration or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in planning, organizing, developing and implementing environmental and/or recycling programs. Bilingual skills in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin or Vietnamese are desirable.
