[GreenYes] Re: Recycle or landfill sewage sludge

Hi Keith ~

What type of sewage sludge? From municipal sewage treatment plants? From a food processing company or dairy farm?

If it is municipal sewage, what is the composition, especially heavy metals and toxics?

BTW, an environmental group has recently ranked municipal sewage treatment systems. They gave the top honors to a plant here in Wisconsin that burns their sludge. See an article at http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070102/GPG0101/701020482/1207
