[GreenYes] Re: Informed management

Life Cycle Analysis can also be used to compare cradle to cradle
systems, or to compare them to cradle to grave systems. Examples
include many comparisons of refillable bottle systems to systems where
beverage containers are recycled, to systems where beverage containers
are disposed. These are standardized to determine how much energy and
resources it takes to deliver a set amount (measured either in beverage
containers or in gallons of beverage) of beverage to the public. Other
common examples compare disposable diaper systems to reusable diapers.
How much energy, water, and materials does it take to provide a year of
diapering to a baby using each method?
