Subject: [GreenYes] VHS tape recycling

Hi:

Chris from the Center for the Development of Recycling researched markets
for old VHS tape cartidges for me. And at the present time in Silicon
Valley, it seems one must pay a fee for service to get them into the
recycling stream.

Now I know I've been a bit out of the day to day but I thought that there
was a premium on recyled plastics so i just wanted to hear about any trend
in CA, the SF Bay Area and the US regarding vhs tapes and other media
related recycling markets.

Thanks,

Ann Schneider

I am getting rid of video tapes that I used to use in my courses on gargabe
and recyling so they include promo's on recycling equipment, psa's, old news
reports on recycling., etc.
