Last Fall I placed a call to a manufacturer of composite lumber, an
outfit that receives plastic film from Wal-M.A.R.T. The responding
individual indicated that they were as hungry as can be for plastic film
of all types(resins) as long as it was absolutely clean, dry, and
without rigid (plastic handles, zip-locks, etc.) or foreign material
(cardboard strengtheners, yarn, etc.) attached. This is NOT to say that
all plastic film recyclers are interested in the same. Color is also an
issue in some cases. Stephan |
