To clarify: We are looking to establish a policy on how to manage waste materials within county departments. We have a swap shop for office supplies and furniture and we plan to mandate the recycling of glass plastic aluminum and steel along with office paper and card board. E-waste will be included and services contracted for by different departments will have a guideline they will need to follow in requesting that service (ie: waste minimization, maximum recycling, recycled content materials, etc.). * Happy Recycling! The policy is to address recycling specifically and will encompass waste reduction, reuse, and buying recycled. Do any of you have a similar policy in place in your business or local government that I can model ours after? Thank you. * Happy Recycling!
