Video Tape Reuse and Recycling

According to one video tape recycler's web page, one VHS tape takes
one-sixth of a gallon of petroleum to make, and video duplicators process 20
million of them a month. That's 3 million gallons of petroleum. If all the
new tapes imported into the U.S. last year where stacked one on top of the
other, it would reach in excess of 6000 miles.

Eco Media will take various kinds of video tapes: VHS, Beta, 8 MM, CDs, etc.
They have minimum quantity requirements (100 for VHS tapes, for example),
but there is no cost.
