Senator Jeffords presented the case for the "Bottle Bill" on the Senate floor 
early this afternoon, utilizing information from the BEAR report and CRI.  He 
still uses the shorthand regarding the bottle bill as opposed to "producer 
responsibility".

It's good to see the senator recycling key findings from the BEAR/MSRP report 
regarding recycling rates in deposit states versus non-deposit states, data 
on energy savings and pollution reduction/prevention from recycling.
