Greetings GreenYesers--
Does anyone know of research conducted about the impacts of mandatory
recycling? Were looking for some background and guidance that includes any
or all of these topics:
- How many mandatory programs exist vs. voluntary programs?
- How many mandatory programs are free (not directly paid by citizens, yes,
I know that someone has to pay) vs. provided for a fee?
- What were the resulting financial impacts of mandatory recycling, i.e.
implementation costs vs. the additional reduction in landfill tip fee and
revenue from commodity sale?
- What are the non-compliance rates in mandatory programs?
- What number of enforcement personnel are needed per 1000 population?
