[greenyes] Recycled Paper Coalition Annual Meeting June 3
RPC's Board of Directors is pleased to invite you to attend the

2003 ANNUAL MEETING OF THE RECYCLED PAPER COALITION



DATE: Tuesday, June 3, 2003, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM


LOCATION: 555 California Street (at Montgomery), San Francisco, California
(meeting begins in the Board Room, 51st Floor)


FEE: $25 per person

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Environmental managers, purchasing agents, facilities
managers, and other interested parties are invited to join the RPC Board and
member organizations for a day of stimulating discussion about improving the
market for recycled and other environmental papers, focusing on the recently
created Common Vision for transforming paper production and consumption
toward environmental and social sustainability.



AGENDA:
Keynote speaker: Susan Kinsella, Executive Director, Conservatree, will
outline the Common Vision, and describe how the Environmental Paper Summit
brought together different environmental groups to create a shared vision
for the future of environmental papers.



Bruce Lawrence of Bank of America, RPC Co-Chair, will discuss recent
Coalition activities.



Featured morning session panelists will discuss how to move from vision to
implementation, and describe their own experiences with environmental paper
production and consumption:

--Kristin Bonner, Corporate Projects Manager, Certified Forest Products
Council

--Jim Hudson, National Account Manager, Office Depot

--Allen Schuman, Senior Sourcing Specialist, Walt Disney Company

--Vince Phelan, Director, Product Management & Marketing Communications,
Boise Paper Solutions

An open Q&A session will follow the presentations.



Afternoon workshops will explore implementing the principles of
environmental purchasing with respect to specific paper grades:  copier
paper, coated papers, and uncoated identity papers (letterhead, business
cards, etc.). Workshops will be facilitated by RPC board members and staff
in conjunction with Environmental Paper Summit steering committee members.

per person, payable to Acterra) to Recycled Paper Coalition, c/o Acterra,
3921 East Bayshore Road, Palo Alto, CA 94303.  Unfortunately, credit cards
cannot be accepted.  You may also pre-register and bring payment to the
meeting.
