I don't know much about marina operations, but I believe that our marina
here uses a number of items (bumpers and such) made from recycled tires.
Anybody know of anyone capturing fish waste (from anglers) for composting?

Subject: [greenyes] Marine Industry Waste
I am looking for the following and would appreciate any information or
ideas
anyone has:
1. any surveys/studies on waste types and quantities from marinas and
commercial fishing (as opposed to cargo and shipping) ports
2. any survey instruments that have been used to assess marina and port
wastes
3. experience with/examples of/leads for businesses that turn marine
wastes into new products
4. any products used by the marine industry that are currently, or could
be,
made from recycled materials
5. anything relevant to the subject of assessing and finding new uses for
marina/fishing port wastes.
Thanks!
