    "Most of the increased demand for PET from the packaging industry has
been attributed to its glass-like appearance when stretch blow molded. In a
new turn, however, end-users increasingly are asking for deep-colored PET
bottles. These bottle have no hint of transparency and off a much glossier
surface than polyolefin blow molded [i.e. HDPE and PP] containers."
