Bring your unwanted shoes to a local charity. If they don't want them,
most textile recycling facilities will accept shoes. Contact the
Council for Textile Recycling for a facility closest to you. Its Web
site is: http://www.smartasn.org. Charities and textile recyclers will
only take shoes (and socks) in pairs.
