Dear Mr./Ms. Stafford:
I want to be on record, as a stockholder in The Coca-Cola Company, on
the manufacturing processes for Coca-Cala and its bottling
companies. The fact that Coca-Cola is not using recycled plastics to
compose its non-returnable bottles is shameful.
The plastics industry appeared in Tallahassee yesterday,
demonstrating recycled plastic products and their ease of use.
The GrassRoots Recycling Network (cf., below) has thoughtfully
criticized Coca-Cola's business practices, and I am inclined to their
position. Their position on corporate welfare also approaches my own.
I encourage your company to be more insightful, progressive, and
forward-thinking, especially with regard for resource and waste
issues, the corporate contribution to the shared environment, and
culture conflict. Coca-Cola could be creating markets for a food
chain of recycled products.
Yours sincerely,
Brent/bat
