Waste Management hires N.Y.īs Vacco
NEW YORK (Feb. 25) -- Former New York Attorney General Dennis
Vacco
has joined Waste Management Inc. as vice president for
governmental affairs in
the state. Vacco played a role in the antitrust negotiations
involving the mergers
last year of Waste Management and USA Waste Services Inc., and
Waste
Management and Eastern Environmental Services Inc. Vacco left
office Dec. 31
after he lost his bid for re-election.
