Hi Cortney,

Am I correct in assuming that you throw them away because they
are so worn out that are not wearable by anyone? If they are at all
wearable, national and local used clothes shops will usually take
them like Goodwill, etc. [they all have different criteria]. Another
thought is to contact the various homeless aid groups in your area
or your nearest large metropolitan area. But that is all "reuse", if
you really mean "recycling" I have not a clue other than to tell you
that you might ask the Textile Recyclers trade group for ideas. Call
SMART [Secondary Materials and Recycled Textiles] at 301/656-

Good Luck and let us know how you fare.

Enjoy the Holiday!
