Roger,
At ILSR we have been exploring the notion of a carbohydrate economy
(versus athe hydrocarbon-based economy we now have). Our work indicates
that the pendulum is beginning to swing back and we have made progress
in switching to plant-matter-based fuels and materials. Much of our
early work focused on ethanol. More recently we have focused on
industrial chemicals made from plants. We have a Web site and a
