Many of you GRRN readers probably already know how you will keep your
waste to a minimum and give Earth-friendly holiday gifts this year. In
case you are looking for some new holiday ideas, though, I'd like to
recommend a Web site I think will interest you. The nonprofit Co-op
America has compiled a number of green holiday suggestions at
www.coopamerica.org -- including "9 WoodWise ways to wrap a present" and
"Tips for a Zero-Waste Party." Co-op America also produces the well
known Green Pages (www.greenpages.org), a directory of resources for
more environmentally aware and socially responsible purchasing.

I have a news release that I would be happy to share with any
publications that want to feature environmentally-sensitive holiday
ideas. E-mail me directly if you are interested (mkelley@sonic.net). You
also can find the news release on the Co-op America Web site.

I hope you find this information useful.
