"Buying Recycled Doesn't Have to Be More Expensive"

Solana Recyclers announces the formation of the Recycled Products
Purchasing Cooperative, (RPPC). This project is funded in part by the
U.S. EPA Region IX. The goal of the RPPC is to increase the use of
recycled paper used in the public and private sectors. The Cooperative
is accomplishing this goal by providing 30% postconsumer recycled paper
that meets or beats the price that many businesses and public agencies
are paying for virgin fiber paper.

The purchasing process is easy. There is no cost to be a member of the
Cooperative. Interested parties contact Solana Recyclers to receive
pricing information and a customer number which guarantees the Co-op's
discount pricing schedule. This number is then used by the member to
purchase direct through the supplier for all future orders.

The paper available is tested and recommended by the U.S. Government
Printing Office, 8.5 x 11, white multi-use office copy paper,
30% postconsumer recycled, processed Elemental Chlorine Free

Discount pricing is available to parties in CA, UT, AZ, NV, OR, WA. In
the year 2000, the Co-op will be open to all fifty states.
