HI All:

I have a student who is looking for statewide data (California) of
materials landfilled that come in compacted vs. loose loads. She is
trying to define the marketshare for compactor equipment.

Her efforts will be to try to work with compactor companies to see the
importance of recycling and the effect of compacting has on reuse and
recycling. And how to design economic incentives within the compactor
industry to support reuse and recycling.

Please response to Marlen Otten at motten@ibm.net.

Thanks,

Ann Schneider
