In reply to ms. Feldman opinion about plastic bags in Europe I would like to
add that it's certainly not a common policy in the EU to charge for a bag.
This system is widely spread in Germany and the Netherlands and some
scandinavian areas, a little in Austria and Belgium and not at all in the
other countries.

Unfortunatly it is still common use the pack the packaging several times
Neither the european commision, neither local governement insist on charging
for plastic bags
the reason for this is that european legislation has a directive on taking
back packaging
and as a fool believes, when you take it back, the problem has gone.
