If you received an email from CRI yesterday regarding Aspartame in diet soft
drinks, PLEASE read the following:

FIRST, not long after the email went out from this office, a second message
went out saying that "The Multiple Sclerosis Society has a response saying
that there is no evidence whatsoever that aspartame causes M.S. I don't
know anything about MS at all, but I do know that the aspartame foes
sometimes make
unsubstantiated charges." This was sent to us by Michael Jacobson of the
Center for Science in the Public Interest.

SECONDLY, the original message from CRI about the alleged Aspartame scare
was a quote from a National Soft Drink Association document.
