[GRRN] Classroom displays

My University, UC Extension, Santa Cruz, has received a grant to expand
our classroom recycling activities. The grant also includes funding to
design/purchase wall displays for each classroom that will provide space
for reuse and recycling education materials and how they can buy
used/recycled at home and at their workplace.

We want to build the displays using lumber from our deconstruction
project from the former Fort Ord Army base but we need part of the
display to be see-through.

Does anyone know of a source of recycled content plexi-glass, or other
clear plastic with recycled content?

I guess, glass could be a possibility although we're in earthquake
country and the displays will probably be next to the door where alot of
traffic moves through so our EH&S folks might not be too keen on that

I've contact a local recycled plastic manufacturer (The Plactory in
Santa Cruz) but they only have dark or opaque plastics.

If any of you have designs for classroom type education displays that
you'd be willing to share, that would be great too.

We get about 40,000 students to our 6 facilities each year and want to
use this as an opportunity to provide info on how they can expand
recycling, buy recycled, product stewardship and DfE back at their place
of business.

Your suggestions and leads are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
