BACKGROUND:Pesticide Watch Education Fund is a small, non-profit organization dedicated to reducing pesticide use in California and promoting least-toxic alternatives. We serve as a clearinghouse of information on the problems associated with pesticide use and alternatives, offer organizing and strategy assistance, networking opportunities, and referrals to technical experts.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Primary responsibilities include:

**Provide training, educational materials, and organizing assistance to community members and organizations in the Central Coast in their efforts to eliminate the use of hazardous pesticides. **Assist in the development of education and outreach materials. ** Develop and implement a Central Coast fundraising plan, including grantseeking and grassroots fundraising. ** Recruit Central Coast organizations to join a statewide coalition dedicated to reducing pesticide use in California. ** Implement Central Coast media plan, including organizing press events,meeting with editorial boards, and writing letters-to-the-editor.

QUALIFICATIONS: Pesticide Watch Education Fund is looking for somebody with the following skills and experience:

**At least 1 year of grassroots organizing experience. **Highly organized, with strong written and oral communication skills. ** Commitment to grassroots organizing and environmental protection. **Highly motivated and capable of taking initiative. **Ability to manage multiple tasks.

SALARY: $17,500- $21,000 depending on experience, with benefits.

My company, GEOPAX, Ltd. located in Sandy Hook, CT is the producer of a packaging material which is composed of 100% post-consumer recycled paper. The product is used to replace styrene loosefill and plastic bubble wrap= inner cushioning materials. Our product happens to form a web of hexagonal cells when expanded.
