Title: [GreenYes] Re: 50 Things Kids Can Do to Save the Environment
Hi Jennifer
Are you talking about the one produced by Earthworks Group? It is
called "50 Simple Things You Can Do to Save the Earth". Information
about it can be read off the following link:
http://everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=1167112
You should find this information useful. Teachers from the City of
Baton Rouge/Parish of East Baton Rouge Government can loan suggested
teaching materials:
http://brgov.com/dept/recycle/pdf/Recycle%20Teachers%20final.pdf
or
http://brgov.com/Dept/recycle/pdf/07teacherguide.pdf
Consider buying from eBay at $0.75 vs $10!

I think it does not matter if they are second-hand, right? After all
one of the things to teach the children is to re-use and this is a
good example to set.
I have also posted many useful information to teach about 3Rs in
pictorial slides presentation so that kids (esp mine) will be
interested to take a look and learn. You can view them at the
following link:

Teachers can also create slides of their own to teach from stuff they
read on the web like "Everything2" above and "Just Give" at the
following link.
http://www.justgive.org/html/guide/50waysenvironment.html
I have also provided a guide on how to create, find free images and
where to post them to create "green" awareness on the following link:

If the children can read them online, they do not have to take home
print outs and they can email the link to their friends. They should
find that cool.
