[GreenYes] data on public recycling bins

Hi all,

A DC City Councilwoman is interested in pushing for public recycling bins in the nation's capital and has asked me for any information on the diversion rates and success of these containers.

Does anyone have any data and lessons learned from placing recycling bins/receptacles in public places?
