[GreenYes] vinyl siding recycling

Hi all,

I am not in favor of vinyl, or the recycling of it, but unfortunately we are dealing with a lot a siding coming off of houses here in San Francisco. At this point, the only option is to landfill it. I used to have a necklace made out of the stuff and mardi gras beads that said "Don't buy vinyl!". Does anyone know a recycler that will take vinyl siding in the SF Bay Area? 

I've already tried a few, and they all say that because the siding has already deteriorated, that recycling it would be a problem, on top of the fact that not all vinyl siding comes from the same manufacturer or formula.
