Hi all,
My name is Alissa Dos Santos and I write for the publications
department at Co-op America. We are a nonprofit organization that
works on harnessing economic power to create a socially just and
environmentally sustainable world. Our publications reach 65,000
people nationwide.
Our upcoming issue of the Co-op America Quarterly will focus on waste
and recycling. I am hoping to write an article on an individual who is
taking recycling, including the reduction of consumption and the reuse
of resources, to another level in his or her personal life. It would
be an added bonus if you are a Co-op America member!
So, if you are trying to go zero-waste at home, or do creative things
to reuse otherwise landfill-bound items, please e-mail me! Also, if
you are a teacher who practices innovative waste management in the
