[GreenYes] Sustainable iinnovation examples?

What do you consider an oustanding innovation for sustainability? We are 
constantly on the lookout for examples to use in our innovation class. 
The text is _In The Bubble_ by John Thackara, a brilliant overview of

Our on-line classes start on Jan. 16th and still have a few openings! 
All classes are taught by working designers and students can tailor 
projects to their needs.  There are classes for graphic designers, green 
product design, green marketing, and making sustainable choices in your 
life.
