Today, November 15, 2006 is America Recycles Day !  .  a milestone of the America Recycles 2006 campaign.


Today is the last day to Pledge to Recycle online and enter to win an Alaskan cruise, the adult grand prize.



There are 5 youth (under 18 yrs) prizes of Trek aluminum-framed bicycles.  



You can still pledge online today at www.americarecyclesday.org



Note, only one pledge per person per year.

 

Recognize recycling!  Recycling saves energy, saves resources, saves landfill space, creates jobs, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and creates opportunities for value added businesses.  Recycling one aluminum can saves the energy equivalent of 3 hours of TV usage and can be back in circulation in 60 days as a soda can or maybe one of those sporty Trek bikes . now that's a value-added product!

 

Pledge to recycle today at www.americarecyclesday.org . maybe you'll be cruisin' in Alaska or on a Trek bicycle made from aluminum that came from recycled soda cans!
